A lot of people with migraine headaches rely heavily on pharmaceuticals to manage the pain. But migraine drug has a long list of side effects, including nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and even more headaches when the medicine is overused.
Fortunately, there are natural treatments accessible to relieve migraines with no negative effects of drugs. A new study indicates that massage and chiropractic adjustments could provide significant relief from migraines.
The treatment administered included in the study included chiropractic adjustments of the neck and upper back, and stretching, gentle massage. The treatment supplied quick-acting relief. Only one hour after receiving the treatment, patients were requested to rate their pain level on a range of 1 to 10. The average patient’s pain scores fell from 5 to 0.5 as a result of the treatment. There have been no important unwanted effects reported by the participants.
Additional research must be conducted to fully understand the changing causes of migraines. This study adds to previous research by showing that chiropractic treatments is a successful treatment for many migraine patients.
